[申請瑞典留學生簽證/居留證(Resident Permit)]
大致說明一下申請簽證的流程，但每年的狀況可能稍有不同，請還是留意一下申請年度的相關規定。

以下說明以留學生為主，但交換生應該是大同小異。

- 取得入學通知書
- 付完第一期學費 (移民局會和學校確認這部份)
- 向銀行申請財力證明(以美元計即可)
- 準備好護照影本
Q: 財力證明至少要證明多少金額？
A: For applications that are received by the Migration Agency on 1 January 2017 or later the maintenance requirement is at least SEK 8,064 per month(連結至原文出處). (至少每個月得計8,064瑞典幣，依修課月數加乘)。
可以證明自己有免費住宿，或學校會安排住宿的交換生，規定的金額會比較低，確切數字也可以查詢這個網頁。
完成以上程序後，就可以進行線上申請了。瑞典移民局網站設計還滿清楚的，流程也會指引你繳交申請費(SEK 1,000)。
申請流程比較會有問題的是，要選擇哪個大使館按壓指紋和取件。一般而言，都需要親臨大使館按壓指紋和取件(得走兩趟)，但因為台灣和瑞典沒有邦交關係，也沒有像美國之於AIT這樣的中間機構，一般會選擇最近的香港領事館親領或代領(詳細會在以下說明)，但如果其他大使館比較方便的話，也可以選擇其他的大使館。
完成線上申請後，系統會寄發確認信，並告知如何進入網站查詢申請狀態。
以下是我的申請時程(選擇香港辦事處)：
2017/4/14 繳完學費
2017/5/10 Application Completed
2017/5/11 Decision has been made
2017/5/16 收到HK Consulate主動來信
2017/6/10 以授權書委託友人取件完成，得一年居留權
簡單來說，簽證核發的結果不能透過email或郵寄告知，要拿decision letter的做法目前有兩種:
1. 親自去香港領->印指紋->交200HKD給領事館讓他們三周後幫忙將簽證寄到台灣
2. 請其他人到香港拿decision letter(要填授權書)，確認通過->用旅遊簽入境瑞典->到瑞典當地的移民局留指紋拿簽證
第二種做法可能會有的風險是如果到其他申根國轉機(信中特別提到德國、法國、芬蘭)轉機可能會有些問題，得多付錢這樣。

We have been informed by the Swedish Migration Agency the result of your application for a student permit/residence and work permit,
The Consulate is prohibited by law to send you a decision over email nor by post. If you want a copy of the result, you may pick it up in person or send a friend with the attached Power of Attorney.
We are open Monday to Friday, between 0900-12.00. No prior appointment is required.
If you hold a Taiwanese passport and you choose to travel to Sweden under the 90 days visa waiver rule, upon arrival you should visit the local office of the Swedish Migration Board with your passport, to have your photo and fingerprints taken and a residence permit card issued.
Very important information for your travel to Sweden:
Some airlines are very strict with regards to documentation before letting passengers onboard. Therefore if you do not have your residence card before departure you may encounter problem with your chosen airline if your return date is later than the allowed visa free stay. Somehow you may be forced to pay extra money for another kind of ticket. We therefore strongly recommend that you check with your airline and if possible do not transit via another Schengen country, such as Germany, France and Finland.
The Consulate General of Sweden in Hong Kong cannot be held responsible for the decisions of airlines and other Schengen countries border controls.
Another option is, you may visit us in Hong Kong to leave the biometric data to order your residence permit card. The card will be ready in 3 weeks. We are able to send the card to your address in Taiwan. You need to pay for the DHL fee of HKD200 in advance at our office.
因為我自己不會在其他申根國轉機，飛香港成本太高，目前是選用第二種做法，如果有其他新資訊會再update上來。
2017/9/04 update:
會用到香港取得的Decision Letter主要有三個時間點：
- 台灣出境海關口
- 瑞典入境海關口
- 瑞典移民局換發居留證
第三點就是前文提到要到瑞典當地印指紋拍照的流程，到瑞典移民局拍照印指紋是需要先預約的，強烈建議在確定好機票跟行程後就可以先預約印指紋的時間。我今年8/16上網預約，預約到的是9/19的時間，後來靠一直刷網頁看有沒有人取消預約才改到8/28。印完指紋後約1-2周就可以到移民局取件了，取件是不需要預約的，到了之後直接抽INFO號碼即可。
